Campaigns

We actively engage in campaigns in support of our beneficiaries to influence policies at government level. Our campaigns may change in priority according to what is happening at local level and prevalence figures.

A significant number of problems that cause/contribute to children being vulnerable and disadvantaged has its roots in children’s human rights being eroded or the lack of it. While the many targeted interventions are successful, we know that long term success must depend on social change and a change in attitudes towards marginalised children.

‘Cultural and religious norms have a key part to play in the fight towards achieving a better future for children because many of the activities that harm them are done in the name of what is perceived to be ‘normal’.
